My photographic practice is inspired by and centres around the subject of landscape and the natural environment in its variety of forms. What constitutes a place or gives a place its identity is the result of a multitude of factors ranging from the weather, architecture, objects, flora and fauna and I look to explore these characteristics within my work.
My work is not explicitly a traditional perspective of the landscape. I look to experiment with alternative visual representations and processes to create unique artwork and imagery.
I am a member of Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Nature First (the Alliance for Responsible Nature Photography) and am also a member of the Royal Photographic Society. I work hard to ensure my practice as a photographer has a minimal impact on the environment and the wildlife contained within it and I constantly review and monitor how I work with this in mind.
I hold a BA (Hons) in photography and regularly exhibit my work throughout the UK. I occasionally hold pop-up events where my artwork is available to view and buy and also participate in art fairs. Please see my events page for more information.
